About Me
How I got here
From a very young age, I cultivated an interest in both spirituality and mindfulness. As a child and teenager suffering from anxiety, I sought out many different methods for calming my mind. I exercised, prayed, connected with music, and established a journaling practice early on. Despite my efforts, my anxiety always had ways of sneaking back into my life, and for many years, my happiness was often tainted by the fear that it wouldn’t last.

It was only through the path of yoga and mindfulness that I was able to overcome this fear. Because of the tools that I have learned on this path, I now feel confident in my ability to handle a wide spectrum of unpleasant emotions. Tools like self-compassion, acceptance, embodiment, and self-inquiry have transformed my relationship with both my body and my mind.

My approach is centered on offering my students a space where they feel safe to be in their bodies and safe to be themselves. In my workshops and classes, I weave in elements of embodiment, self-inquiry and mindfulness. As a space holder, I aspire to show up with vulnerability and authenticity, believing and knowing that when we express ourselves authentically, we invite others to do the same.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies, a Master’s Degree in Public Service, a 200hr YTT from Arkansas Yoga Collective, 200hr YTT from Breath Body Earth Yoga School and a 300 YTT from Breath Body Earth Yoga School, where I am currently a YTT facilitator. Breath Body Earth is an international yoga school that focuses on inclusivity, embodiment and connection. I also works as Manager of Saasil Retreat Center, a Wellness and Eco-Retreat Center located in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. I have been actively involved in spiritual leadership and facilitation for more than 15 years.
